The Pool Bronze Medallion is run by Royal Life Saving and is a two day course (14 contact hours) whereas the Surf Life Saving Bronze Medallion is run over a 6 week period and amounts to at least 40 contact hours.

Whilst the names are similar the course content is quite different, you will require a Surf Life Saving Bronze Medallion unless you are applying for a pool position.

Pay rates are determined on roles, responsibilities and experience.  You will be assigned a pay rate based on those factors.

Yes, this can be very beneficial and also a great way to gain more experience.

Once, we have confirmation of your awards and you have passed the testing you will be notified of your Supervisor’s details.
